John joined AQR in August 2007 and is currently our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He came to AQR from Knight Capital Group where he had been the Chief Financial Officer since May of 2003, Acting Chief Financial Officer from February 2003 and Group Controller for the company starting in April 2002, a position he also held from July 1998 to April 2000. From April 2000 to April 2002, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Knight Equity Markets International Ltd. based in London. John was a Senior Manager in Securities Industry Practice at Price Waterhouse LLP from 1991 to 1998. He is a CPA and received his B.S in Accounting from Lehigh University in 1991.
