This includes providing business solutions with customized application development and third party application system implementations and trading services such as market data, broker, custodial, and fund administration. Enterprise systems such as telecommunications, messaging, database, web portals, and others are also managed by IT. The IT team provides 24/7/365 technical support for the AQR staff.<br /><br /> The Firmwide Development team is responsible for systems used by the Portfolio Management, Research, Trading, Operations and Accounting teams in addition to all post trade processing and certain client reporting. The team s primary mission is to deliver custom, real-time transaction processing systems, with the scalability and flexibility necessary to support the growth in our assets and accounts. The current inventory of systems includes desktop tools for portfolio managers and traders, order management systems, algorithmic trade execution platforms, financial analytics, intra-day portfolio valuation and position keeping system, and risk management tools. These systems support the processing of a broad range of financial products that include equities, futures, options, FX, commodities, fixed income, CDS, interest rate swaps and other OTC derivative products.
